CRCC SAFETY AND FIELD RULES
WARNER ROAD FIELD
Field Hours,  Sun up till Sun down.
 
Electric Aircraft and Helicopters only, Absolutely,  No Gas or Glow powered Aircraft or Helicopters may be flown at this Field.
 
  1. No open fires of any kind are permitted on the landfill property.

  2. No Smoking on the landfill property

  3. All model flying shall be conducted over the land fill property only and in a manner to avoid flying , over people, cars and driveways.

  4. No power model may be flown outdoors closer than 25 feet to any individual, except for the pilot and the pilot’s helper located at the flight line.

  5. On takeoff, first turn must be away from the pit area. Wind direction will establish the flight pattern.

  6. Model Aircraft must only use radio control frequency’s currently allowed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Only individuals properly licensed by the FCC are authorized to operate equipment on Amateur Band frequencies.

  7. Only narrow band 72mhz transmitters and 2.4 transmitters may be used.

  8. All guests and visitors must have a current AMA card and have a “Guest Pass” issued by a board member or a Club member designated by the Board, to fly at this field.

  9. No member can operate a model aircraft while under the influence of a controlled substance or within eight hours of having consumed alcohol. Or while using any medication that might impair their ability to safely control their aircraft.

  10. Absolutely no alcoholic beverages of any kind are permitted on the landfill property.

  11. Current AMA card with current CRCC membership sticker required to fly.

  12. AMA card must be placed in the impound rack to take frequency pin.

  13. Loud electric planes can be banned at the discretion of the Board or person designated by the Board.

  14. All trash, garbage, airplane parts etc. must be cleaned up and  removed from the property.

  15. Any violations of the field and or safety rules will be discussed with the violator continued or deliberate violation of the rules could result in revocation of flying privileges and in extreme cases removal from the Club.

From the field, turn right on Warner road down the hill to Canal road turn left to Grainger road (rte 17), turn left up Grainger road hill, follow Grainger road East to E 126th st. turn left to McCracken road the hospital will be on your left.
